AMETCO’S STEEL SHADOW 100 DESIGN was used in a large double swing gate at
Arbor Elementary School in Euclid, Ohio. Shadow 100 design is provides 100% direct
visual screening and is also offered with 80% direct visual screening. After fabrication
Shadow Design is hot dipped galvanized then powder coated to one of Ametco’s
15 standard colors. The added color gives an extra touch of appeal to the gates, harmonizing
with its surroundings. Shadow design fencing and gates are manufactured in the USA in our

Ametco’s Eclipse 100 Design was used at the Danville Primary Center in Danville, Pa. The Eclipse 100 Design is a fixed louver aluminum fence that provides 100% direct visual screening. The Eclipse design is also manufactured with 80% visual screening. Eclipse is manufactured from extruded aluminum section providing visual screening and still allowing air flow. After fabrication the Eclipse Design is powder coated to one of Ametco’s 15 standard colors to harmonize with its surroundings and providing years of maintains free beauty. Effingham County Judicial Complex Springfield, Ga. used Ametco Manufacturing Corporation SHADOW 100 CANTILEVER GATE to secure the entrance to their parking lot. SHADOW 100 is a steel security fixed louver infill panel that provides 100% direct visual screening. After fabrication the gate was hot dip galvanized then powder coated providing maintenance free protection. This system gives the best corrosion protection in the industry. The color gives an “extra” touch of appeal to gate harmonizing with its surroundings. Ametco’s aluminum Phoenix Design enclosure was installed @ Berks Woman
in Crisis Center in reading, Pa. Phoenix Design is a 4 inch x ½ inch aluminum extrusion
welded as a fixed louver to produce 80 or 100 percent visual screening. After fabrication
Phoenix Design is powder coated to one of Ametco’s 15 standard colors. The choice of
color allows the enclosure to harmonize with its environment. Ametco has 5 different
designs of fixed louver fencing. All of Ametco’s enclosures, fencing and gates

A New York city high school utilizes Ametco’s steel security bi-folding double swing gate Metro® Design. Ametco also manufactures single and double swing gate, V-wheel rolling gates and cantilever rolling gates. Metro® Design is an electro-forged welded steel security fence and gates that are hot dip galvanized after fabrication. Ametco’s steel security grille Metro Design was used at the 17th Street parking garage in Miami, Fl. Metro Design is one of Ametco’s six grille designs that are electro-forged welded steel panels to provide strength and security. The Metro Design panels were furnished radius and raked to fit the spiral stair case. This job was installed 16 years ago but the photo was taken recently showing how the hot dip galvanized and powder coating maintained its color and beauty in the coastal city of Miami. The grilles are manufactured to be both functional and decorative, harmonizing visually with any environment.
Ametco’s METRO DESIGN steel security grilles were used at the
New York Botanical Gardens Parking Garage. After fabrication the
METRO DESIGN steel security grille is hot dipped galvanized than
is polyester powder coated to one of Ametco’s 15 standard colors.

The steel railing on the running track at the New Saline High School

Ametco’s aluminum sunshade style 201 was installed @ Best Buy in New York. The style 201 Aluminum sunshade has a extruded fixed louver on 2-1/16” centers. After fabrication the aluminum sunshade was powder coated allowing the sunshade to match the company’s logo. This one of a kind aluminum monorail cantilever roller gate was installed at the Sanford Public Safety Complex in Sanford, Fl. The aluminum 32' cantilever roller gate with a built-in 3’ man gate used the latest monorail design to assure a smooth operating system and the 3’ man gate to have a clear opening. The gate was manufactured at Ametco in their Willoughby, Ohio plant. The infill panels in both the monorail and swing gate was Ametco’s Eclipse Design Aluminum fencing material. Venetian Design fixed louver aluminum fence and gates were installed at the University of Tennessee at Knoxville, Tn. The Venetian Design is a unique louver design that will provide 100 percent visual screening in any direction. The benefit to this style is the louver can run either horizontally or vertically and still provide full screening of the area it is enclosing and the louver allows air flow. AMETCO’S ALUMINUM VENETIAN 90 Design at Sarasota County Data Center in Sarasota, Fl. is one of five fixed louver design aluminum fences that AMETCO offers. All five designs can be furnished with 100 to 60 percent direct visual screening. The one difference that Venetian design offers is screening from any direction. This allows the Venetian design to be used either horizontally or vertically with effective screening. Venetian design, like all of AMETCO’s fixed louver aluminum fencing is powder coated after fabrication to give an “extra” touch of appeal to the fencing, harmonizing with its surroundings.
Ametco’s aluminum sunshade style 102-90 was installed @ Belen Jesuit Prep School in Miami, Fl. The style 102-90 Aluminum sunshade has 2” x ½” extruded aluminum tubes on 1-3/8” centers. After fabrication the aluminum sun shade was powder coated allowing the sunshade to match the aluminum framing around the windows. Ametco also furnished the outriggers that were powder coated to match the sun shades. With the figures in for the year 2010 Ametco’s Metro Design steel fence was the number one seller followed closely by Shadow Design steel fence and Eclipse Design aluminum fence. All three designs were used not only for fencing but also for gates, railings, grilles and sunshades. Metro Design is Ametco’s galvanized steel open mesh fence. Shadow Design and Eclipse Design are fixed louver fencing offering either 80 or 100% direct visual screening. The year also saw the monorail cantilever gate system become the standard for Ametco cantilever system with great success. Ametco also built our largest double swing gate that was 30 foot wide x 14 foot 7 inches high that performed to our highest standards.
The newest style of cantilever gates by Ametco is the monorail cantilever design. Ametco has furnished over 20 monorail cantilever gates from 18 to 42 foot wide and on each installation the results have been outstanding. The weight of the gate can be as heavy as 5,000 pounds yet it will still operate smoothly. This is attributed to the weight of the gate riding on two carriages that are mounted on the footer not hanging from posts. The monorail design also allows the overhang of the gate to be 30 percent of the opening not the 70 percent as on the older style cantilever gates.
